How a mud mask changed my life

Over the past 3 years I have not only been active on social media but have also been employed in the beauty industry as a beauty consultant. Every day I meet woman looking for the next best thing to change anything from their hair to their body to their skin and It always leaves me with the ever wondering question... Was that option the better option. After all we are all lead to curiosity over the apparent next best thing.

2 years ago a mud mask changed my life... Yes thats right you read right A MUD MASK CHANGED MY LIFE. A simple 50 mineral mud mask that was and continues to be my eternal black head killer. Now one would think. What the hell is so special about a mud mask, Well let me clear that up. Not all masks deliver. In fact I have used over 30 different masks and not one of them have ever given me the solution to my problem. But then again we are all different and whats good for the goose is not always good for the gander.

This mask not only cleared up my pizza looking face but also opened many doors... But that conversation is for another time.

A few months ago I saw this add on instagram that got my attention... well honestly I am not one to give these adds a chance but this one got my attention .

THE BLACK PEEL OFF MASK... Taking the internet by storm. Available on every site at all sorts of price ranges. So seriously what is the fuss all about. I can not swear by a product when I see another and always wonder if I am making the right choice.

And so this had to happen. 2 Masks.. 2 halves of my face but in the end there can only be one.

It had to be fair. So in any review I wont go out and buy the cheapest mask I can find. This peel off charcoal mask is one of the more expensive brands. coming in at £10 for 3 masks or should I say 2 and a half. I will list the pros and cons of both products.

2 In every tube you get 20 to 22 masks

3 Easy to apply and can also be rinsed off in the bath as the minerals are good for the skin.

5 The only thing I would have to say it that application is best with a mask brush but overall is not messy and you can literally see the oil and dirt coming out the skin

CHARCOAL PEEL OFF MASK

1 Mask is messy to apply, not enough in the packet to cover the full face

2 Has a strange smell to it

3 Don´t feel any difference when applied on the face

4 Not easy to get off the hands and nails

5 When it peels off as you see in the adds there is no layers of removed dirt or blackheads on the mask sheet
