Over the past year we have all had big goals in place. Changes that would lead to bigger things. Now the question is did you achieve what you set out to achieve in 2016? or did you just see a clearer road to the goals you set. Either way its a step in the right direction.
so now looking at the next year, the clean slate we have been reading loads of goals and plans for the new year as well as small changes we can make t make the next year an inspiring one. To live the dreams you deserve and have the life you long for.
This all starts and ends with you.

What can you do to make 2017 a year filled with focus and success?
So I came across this blog and it just hit the nail on the head. A few things I would personally change but I simply had to share it
1. Find a “third space” that makes you happy.

“We need more than just work and home. It’s nice to have at least one extra place (coffee shop, gym, nice park, library) when you leave work but don’t necessarily want to hang at home. Plus, if you make yourself a regular at certain places, you’ll usually bump into the same people. Even just a regular time out. an hour a day on your lunch beak if you work full time or even if you have kids just that little escape for you time. If you don't take care of yourself you will not be able to take care of be there for anyone else. "Make sense?"
2. Take 15 minutes each night to make your mornings easier

Its a small simple task that makes your morning that much easier. It can be as simple as choosing what you wear the next day. Getting your morning things ready. simply saving time and thinking ahead. 15 minutes can often give you back so much more when you start your day.
3. Spread the love.

Do something nice for someone you care about. Then they feel good, you get to know that you made them feel good, and overall your friendships will be super fun and fulfilling. Show gratitude, appreciation and love for the simple moments. Its the ittle things that count
4. Change your sheets.

Nothing like a clean bed at the start of the week. Fresh smell of fabric softener and happy place
“Put clean bed sheets on every Sunday. It helps me feel fresh for the week ahead.”
5. Make a vision board.

Simply put “It sounds kinda naff, but fill it with images that inspire you. Beautiful things, places you’re planning to travel to, things like that.” The idea is to keep focused on happy things. reams. things you want and will have.
6. Make time everyday to do something to make you smile.

“I love blogging, reading and music, and not only does it make me happy, it helps to relax and rejuvenate my mind so I can accomplish everything I want to during the day.” Its important to take a little time out everyday to do things that make you smile and feel good.
7. Spend time in the mornings setting yourself up for the day.

“I really got into makeup this year and started switching up my regular routine. The me time in the morning is really special. I sit in my bed facing the window, listen to a podcast, and spend some quiet time with myself.” Breakfast in bed with a good audio motivation is also a brilliant way to start the day
8. Embrace loose-leaf tea.

“It sounds silly, but I love taking the time to measure out the tea, boil the water, steep it in the tea pot, and drink it. It’s a nice 20 minutes that I have for myself to clear my mind and enjoy a quiet moment in the morning or even in the evening. Plus it wakes my mind up so I’m ready to put into action whatever the plan for the moment may be.”
9. Allocate yourself guilt-free days off to just do nothing.

“I have found that if I am dreading something, I am either too tired to do it or I’m unprepared. So taking time to rest or finish is more effective than ‘powering through’. I end up feeling better and being more effective at the same time, so win-win.”
10. Celebrate your wins.

“Try to remember accomplishments because being depressed makes you feel like you can’t do anything.”
The little things are always a step in the right direction. Positive mind sets are everything
11. Face your fears.

“I started facing my fears this years because I was forced into a situation where I had to be really assertive and confrontational. And it wasn’t so bad. So I decided to face them all: I started doing live videos, making brave life changes, saying no, my youtube channel, public speaking. I’m excited for this year!” Its going to be one to remember
12. Love yourself.

“I take a dry erase marker and write something I like about myself on my bedroom mirror which I look at every day. I erase and start over on Mondays.”
One small thing to make you see all the amazing things that make you ... You.
13. Put pen to paper.

“I took up note taking in June of last year, and it has seriously improved my personal productivity. I’m a very visual person, and the satisfaction of a physical list I can cross my ‘to-do’s off of is unparalleled. That satisfaction really motivates me to get things done.”
Try it... This might just be the thing that will get you moving forward
14. Exercise in the morning. or evening.

“I used to go to the gym in the evenings after work, and it was so easy to cancel because I was tired. Now I wake up an hour earlier and get it done before starting my day, and I don’t have to think about it. I’ve never regretted getting up early to work out. Even if I just take time to go for a short walk, it really improves the rest of my day.” If for any reason like my kids or weather I make sure that I get on my stepper before bed.
15. Keep a list of things that make you happy.

“I keep a list of little things like comments, good experiences, and conversations that have made me happy in the notes on my phone. Whenever I’m feeling kind of sad or just cranky, I look through the list. It always makes me smile and remember why I have so much to be grateful for.”
16. Enjoy the sun.

“I think the easiest way to make my life better is simply by having a cup of coffee near sunlight. Whether it’s sitting in my living room with the sun shining through the window or sitting on the porch, or even on a bench with a takeaway coffee. It’s the little things.”
17. Personal therapy.

“Go to therapy once a week. By that I mean take a time out and talk to someone. Even if everything is going okay that week, it still is good to talk and be able to deal with all my mini frustrations, and it makes opening up about the big stuff easier.” A good friend, a sister or a partner. Sometimes even a stranger. There is a time and a place for everything
18. Craft yourself a to-do list.

“For recurring tasks that have to be done daily/weekly/monthly, I design a cute checklist on Canva that matches my office decor and laminate it so that I can check items off with a dry erase marker rather than having an ugly whiteboard up!”
19. Don’t let your phone wake you up.

“Put your phone on Do Not Disturb every night before you fall asleep so you aren’t woken by notifications.”
20. Have a day off social media every now and then.

“Log off, and spend the whole day away from your phone or computer.” Hard for a network Marketer. But guess what being social is part of the job. Its part of the lifestyle and it only does you good.
21. Make your bed.

“Make your bed in the morning! It doesn’t have to be perfect but take ten seconds to straighten and pull up the covers and it makes crawling into bed at the end of the day so much more satisfying!
Now make the moments start counting for you.
