Green tea could raise your energy expenditure, and possibly even help battle obesity, according to a new study.
Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), a compound found in green tea, was shown to increase fat oxidation by 33 percent.
This result comes from one of many studies that have looked at green tea's potential in weight loss. EGCG has been shown to be a key component in many of these studies.
There are a number of ways the EGCG could help aid weight loss:
It could increase metabolism and fat oxidation
It could inhibit fat cell development
It could increase fat excretion

In just over 3 months I have transformed my body and these have been my personal results. I follow my top 6 tips and those have made a huge difference but I believe these are the biggest reason my my personal change. I have more energy, and feel so much better :)

If you are going to go the route of green tea capsules, I would recommend buying high-quality tablets such as the ones we have available, that do not exceed the recommended daily allowance for your body weight.
If you don’t like the taste of green tea, I recommend keeping at it. The taste will grow on you. Do you remember the first time you took a sip of coffee? Like most people, you probably didn’t fall in love with it immediately. After time, you grew to like it until you were craving it every morning!
If you want to take a green tea pill to get more catechins, then remember there is no one ingredient that will make you healthier but this is a contributing factor. To be healthy, it is best to have a natural diet with many fruits and vegetables, smaller portion sizes, and increased physical activity.
And, that 1 pill a day will be a brilliant start.
